Before co-founding ETC, Margaret (Margie) Shattuck was the Federal Compliance Director for Automatic Data Processing (ADP), the nation´s largest payroll tax service bureau/reporting agent. In that capacity, Margie successfully directed the removal of penalties totaling billions of dollars and resolved high profile problems with the federal agencies. She also delivered various employment tax related presentations for the American Payroll Association, both at the national and local chapter levels. Prior to joining ADP, Margie´s employment/payroll tax experience spanned 26 years with the IRS. At the headquarters office in Washington, DC she administered the Failure to Deposit (FTD) penalty program and, as the resident FTD expert, was featured in the IRS educational video entitled "Deposit Simplification".

In 2013, Margie was one of two public tax consultants appointed by Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley to serve on the Commission to Study the Regulation of Payroll Services (CSRPS).  Margie is an Enrolled Agent (EA) allowed to practice before the IRS; she is also a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).

During this meeting we will also be collecting for Toys for Tots.  Please remember to bring your new, unwrapped toys to benefit those who are less privileged.  

1.5 Recertification Credit Hours (RCH) will be awarded to CPP and FPC professionals for this meeting.

Charm City Payroll Association registration and cancellation policy: Meeting registrations are transferable to other employees at the same company as the original registrant, provided advance notification is provided to the CCPA by clicking here. Cancellations are allowed up to the deadline for the early registration date and are subject to a cancellation fee of $10.00. Cancellations after this date are not refundable and the full cost of the event is due.  All refunds are issued by check from the CCPA made out to to the original registering party.

1. In order to register for our meetings you must be registered with and logged into our web site.  Click here if you wish to register with our site. 
2. You can register others for the meeting by selecting the desired number of Member or Non-Member tickets.  Paid members may purchase tickets for members or non-members.  Non-members may only purchase non-member tickets.
3. If you're a member registering other members, once you've selected your tickets, use the drop down to select the member(s) you want to register.  By default, your name will populate for each ticket .  The list is sorted alpha by last name.
4. For non-members, type in the name and email address (optional) of each attendee.
5. Once you've selected (or typed in) your attendees, click "Continue" to complete your payment.
6. Each attendee will receive a registration confirmation email.
