When it comes to Health Care Reform, this will certainly not do!

Invite your peers in human resources and benefits to join you at this enlightening presentation on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (PPACA).

At our next luncheon meeting on Thursday, June 21st we welcome John Haslinger, ADP Vice President of Product Management - Benefits and Health Care.  John has significant domain expertise on this subject matter.  He has published a white paper on the subject and has presented at seminars around the US, helping companies to understand and to effectively prepare for this legislation. 

Among other things, John will cover:

• History of health care - benefits in the US
• Precipitating events that lead to the passage of the Act
• What you need to do to be prepared for the Act
• Consequential impact of the Act on other compliance areas
• How Health Care Reform is changing employer's benefit offerings
• State Reactions and how they may impact employers
• Key Compliance Considerations
• Looking ahead to technology and tools for managing compliance

And if that's not enough, as you may be aware, the US Supreme Court is considering challenges to various components of the Act - and may have ruled by our meeting - which John will attempt to address, depending on the outcome of their ruling(s).

Cheri Parlaman from the House of Ruth will provide a brief overview of the impact this organization is making in our communities, and what CCPA members can do to help.

1.5 Recertification Credit Hours (RCH) will be awarded to CPP and FPC professionals for this meeting.

You can register others for the meeting, but only those who are also registered with our web site.  Once you confirm your information you'll be presented with the option to purchase tickets for each member category for which you are eligible to purchase.  To purchase more than one ticket, click on the "Add to cart"  button multiple times for each ticket category you wish to purchase. 
3. Paid members may purchase tickets for other paid members and guest members.  Guest members may only purchase tickets for other guest members. 
4. Once you've selected your tickets, use the drop down to select the member(s) you want to register.  By default, your name will populate for each ticket .  The list is sorted alpha by last name.
5. Once you've selected your attendees, click "Continue" to complete your payment.
6. Only you will receive a registration confirmation email.
