Topic: Everything you need to know about Payroll Record Retention

Summary: 

 How long do you need to keep your payroll data?  Is it one year or seven years?  Details are important when it comes to record retention from I-9s to employee files.  We will go over the time requirements for different federal agencies along with the specific data.  

Bio: 

Carrie Louise Hovell, CPP is the Manager of Payroll and Equity for Agios Pharmaceuticals located in Cambridge, MA.  Currently working 100% remote in Virginia, Carrie is the President of the WMAC and VSPC Secretary this year.  For PayrollOrg, Carrie serves on her second term as a Board of Advisor to Region 6, first term was for Region 1.  She also volunteers on the committees for Ask the Expert, SPLTF Best Practices, SPLTF Small Business Best Practices, Certification Item Development Task Force, Certification Board, and Board of Contributing Writers.  Formerly she served on the PAYO Nominations & Elections Committee.
