Summary: 

Are you considering changing HRIS systems? Is there a system enhancement looming in the future? The thought itself can be scary and overwhelming. Where do you even start? In this presentation we will walk from start to finish in the process of changing systems. What should be in your RFP? What IS an RFP? Who should be on the team selecting the system? How do you go about selecting the right system for you? Now that you have selected a system, what’s next? We will consider these questions and many more in this interactive presentation. Come with your questions!

Bio: 

Tim Walstrum is the Payroll Manager at Mariner Finance in Baltimore, MD. He obtained his CPP in 2002. He has been in the payroll field for 23 years. In 2015 he was named American Payroll Association’s Payroll Man of the Year. He has served on the board of the Charm City Payroll Association serving as Government Liaison Officer, Director of Education,4 years as President and 4 years as Vice President of the chapter. At the national level he serves on the Electronic Payment Committee as well as the Social Networking Committee, the Child Support subcommittee and Garnishment subcommittee of the Government Affairs Task Force. He just finished a 2-year term on the APA Board of Advisors serving as the advisor for Region 9. He has been with his husband Erick for 32 years.
