Summary: The key to a successful payroll department is to ensure that our process are efficient and can deliver accuracy to the payroll process. Join us for our presentation “Implementing Best Practices to Drive Process Improvement”. Learn practical ways to identify your current processes, how to identify the best practices and successfully implement improvements in your business.

Speaker: Tim Wallen, President of the Payroll Professionals of Kentuckiana

Bio:
Tim Wallen, CPP is the Director of Business Services for Fit Money CPA and is contracted as a Payroll Consultant for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Tim worked previously as the Controller for a public utility in Louisville KY for twenty eight years. His work experience includes serving as project manager over an SAP implementation including HR and Payroll and several subsequent projects.
Serving as a Payroll Consultant with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, he and his payroll colleagues evaluated business processes making changes which resulted in significant savings of both time and money. The Commonwealth of Kentucky won the 2017 American Payroll Association Prism Award for Process Improvement.
Tim has served as an officer with the Payroll Professionals of Kentuckiana for many years and is currently the President-Elect. He is also active with the American Payroll Association as Co-Chair of the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force – Government / Public Sector Best Practices Subcommittee and the Government Relations Task Force – State and Local Topics Subcommittee.
Tim holds a Masters’ degree from Webster University and a bachelors’ degree from Northwood University. He received his Certified Payroll Professional certification in 2013.

Cancellations are allowed up to the deadline for the early registration date and are subject to a cancellation fee of $10.00. Cancellations after this date are not refundable and the full cost of the event is due. All refunds are issued by check from the CCPA made out to to the original registering party. |
